The "College of Applied Science" is situated 33 kilometer's away south of Palakkad and 30 kilometer's north of Trichur beside the National Highway 47 at the Picturesque location of Vadakkencherry in Kerala, India. The College was established in 1993 by the "Institute of Human Resources Development" (I.H.R.D) a Government of Kerala undertaking. The new building at Erasankulam, Vadakkencherry was formally inaugurated by the honorable minister for Education Shri. P.J Joseph in 1999.The College offers three year B.Sc degree courses in Electronics and Computer Science. Apart from that, it also offers M.C.A, P.G.D.C.A, D.C.A and other short term courses. The College will be starting M.Sc Computer Science and M.Sc Electronics courses shortly. The college is run on a self financing basis by the I.H.R.D and is affiliated to the University of Calicut.
